International Accreditations and Quality Assurance

Relevant and focussed on today's business environment, we are the only Australian business school to achieve membership to CEMS - the Global Alliance in Management Education, in addition to international accreditation from the leading US and European Business School accrediting bodies, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS).

For the fifth consecutive year, the University of Sydney has been ranked in the top 20 in the world in Accounting and Finance, as reported by the latest 2017 QS World University Rankings by subject. The University was also ranked in the global top 40 in the world in Business and Management Studies. Overall, the University of Sydney has cemented its position as a global leader in research and educational excellence, with, 31 subjects ranked in the top 50, 11 ranked in the top 20, and 3 ranked in the top 10 in the world.

The University of Sydney has also been ranked number one in Australia and fourth in the world for graduate employability in the 2017 QS Graduate Employability Rankings. This ranking confirms the University’s excellence in preparing students for the global workforce, topping the list of Australian universities for the second year running.

In 2013 and again in 2015, the Australian Financial Review's BOSS Magazine's biennial assessment of management programs ranked the Business School's Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) the nation’s leading executive education program.
